Overall job purpose
The Johanniter International Assistance (JIA) is seeking a Communications Assistant to manage internal and external communications and the visibility of JIA’s country programme projects in Mozambique. The Communications Assistant will contribute to the implementation of the internal and external communications strategy in accordance with the principles and values of Johanniter International Assistance. He or she will also assist in building and maintaining the visibility of the activities carried out, as well as the acceptance and influence of JIA in Mozambique. He or she will report to the Communications and Advocacy Officer and work in collaboration with the programme teams, PMEAL and the partners. The position based in Pemba and requires extensive field work and movement in Cabo Delgado province as well as some travels in Manica and Sofala provinces.
