Degree in commerce, management or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years in a large institution and at least 5 years in a leadership role, in a commercial management position.

Key responsibilities:
Identify new commercial opportunities, manage new projects and ensure current customers are provided with the correct prompt levels of professional support timeously in order to fulfil the organizations objectives and achieve the Commercial goals of the company;
Develop long and short-term commercial strategic plans to ensure the achievement of the company’s core objectives, maximizing its economic potential;
Manage and monitor all commercial activities to ensure that the plan and agreed commercial goals are met within the established deadlines;
Compile Commercial budgets and manage the Commercial implementation to ensure the objectives and revenues are exceeded;
Develop commercial strategies and maintain a customer base for developing and maintaining current customers and ensure that the company has the capacity and expertise to meet its commitments to all its customers;
Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts. Monitor their implementation, review and propose contracts of services with 3rd parties, ensuring the highest standard of services;
Recommend credit agreements and monitor its limits;
Representing the company at government partners, professional associations and others;
Analyze the commercial results of new contracts, making comparisons between planned targets and the results achieved, to correct distortions, assess performance and plan the commercial activities;
Monitor and manage the commercial performance of each of the functional units in conjunction with the departmental managers, aiming at the highest possible commercial results.
