Plan and manage construction works from start to finish;
Provide on-time and complete reports and status updates;
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans;
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment on site;
Produce schedules and monitor attendance of workers;
Allocate general and daily responsibilities;
Maintain written daily log of site activities;
Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, enforcing and guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met by workers and contractors.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a construction foreman in civil construction project;
Fluent oral and written knowledge of Portuguese and English required;
Ability to read drawings plans/blueprints and convey this information to others ensuring the projects meet all building/code requirements;
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, strong organizational and time management skills;
Extensive knowledge of construction best practices;
Be familiar and aware of HSE practices and policies;
Mozambican nationality;
Previous experience on prefabricated building or camp construction is a plus.
