Who We’re Looking For

We’re expanding our team and searching for a Business Development Assistant who is energetic, proactive, and eager to contribute to both our sales and procurement operations. If you’re someone who thrives on building relationships, negotiating smart deals, and driving business growth, this role is for you! You’ll work closely with suppliers and clients, ensuring smooth procurement processes while helping to expand our reach in the agricultural sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Engaging with suppliers and clients to build strong, long-term relationships.
• Supporting procurement and sales activities, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Preparing proposals, bidding documents, and contracts that align with company policies.
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best deals while maintaining quality standards.
• Conducting market research to identify trends and uncover new business opportunities.
• Tracking and analyzing sales and procurement data, creating reports for management.
• Assisting in logistics coordination, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth order fulfillment.
• Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries from both suppliers and clients.
• Participating in industry events to represent A Transição Verde and expand our network.

What You Bring to the Table

• A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Sales, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• Certification in procurement, sales, or business development (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
• experience in a similar role, ideally in the agricultural sector is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with procurement and CRM systems is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Portuguese (spoken and written) and strong proficiency in English.
