CARE is International NGO with offices in more than 70 Countries, are looking to hire The Advocacy Program Coordinator (APC) position to be based in Maputo, that will be responsible for the effective and successful implementation of CARE Mozambique’s advocacy based projects: PARCO and SCURN. The APC will be based in Maputo but will work closely with the partner organizations in target provinces. The APC will represent CARE and the PARCO and SCURN projects in different relevant networks, meetings and technical working groups at national level and will share relevant information with the wider CARE team. S/he is also responsible for developing CARE’s and its partners’ internal capacity in evidence based and policy advocacy and civil society strengthening. The APC will also be responsible for leading other CARE Mozambique and CARE regional advocacy strategies. The APC will line manage two project officers who will lead day-to-day implementation of the PARCO and SCURN programs:
Leadership role in developing and implementing a national advocacy strategy related to key issues of PARCO and SCURN program:
Institutional Development and Organizational Strengthening (IDOS) of strategic Civil Society partners
