Administration Officer III at Unitrans

Doing time and motions studies for long and short haul operations as well as mill yard and loading operations;
Implementation of Soloplan software solutions;
Deep understanding of the Soloplan software and be able to provide technical expertise and guidance Facilitates, co-ordinates and analyses all continuous improvement activities;
Trains the teams on best practices of how to use the CI tools and identify continuous improvement initiatives;
Liaises effectively on collection of data for analysis and facilitates team;
Follows standard problem solving techniques, and communicates effectively with team members and senior management to ensure all CI activities are aligned with the Business Unit strategy, and documented in the database accordingly.

Grade 12 or equivalent;
2-3 Years experience in the administration field;
General transport background highly advantageous;
Experience or exposure to technical aspects in the Transport Environment would be an advantage;
Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook);
Excellent communication skills;
Excellent problem solving abilities;
Able to work under pressure;
Deadline orientated;
Reliable and dependable;
Must be proactive and able to use own initiative;
Must have own transport.
