Accountability to Affected Populations Assistant Full-Time

Key Tasks

• Support the running of the child friendly feedback mechanisms, including listening to feedback recordings, emptying complaint boxes etc, and consolidating feedback;
• Provide consolidated information to the AAP Specialist from the child friendly feedback mechanisms;
• Support the response programme to implement and align with the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS);
• Support a strong focus on gender, particularly girls and adolescent girls, in all activities.
• Active participation in any Community Engagement & PSEA working groups as appropriate.

Knowledge

• Field experience focusing on AAP or community engagement activities;
• Knowledge of humanitarian response, child protection and disaster risk reduction;
• Able to work in Portgueese, Sena / Nadu.

 Skills

• High integrity and willingness to conduct her/himself transparently and open to scrutiny;
• Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality;
• Ability to write reports and communication pieces;
• Competence using information technology including experience with word-processing, spreadsheets and database software;
• Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking);
• Empathy with the affected population.

Type of Role: Fixed Term 6 months

Annual Salary: 720.000,00MTS
