CARE International, a development and humanitarian organization in Mozambique since 1986 with offices in more than 70 countries and part of a large international federation seek to hire dynamic and experienced professionals, Gender Specialist and SSBC.
The Gender Specialist and SSBC will be responsible for the Coordination, Management and Implementation of the activities related to the Gender component, specifically looking after the support in the revision of the current gender approaches, strategies and policies, dissemination at direct implementing partner’s level. Ensure compliance between CARE’s gender approach strategies and methodologies with the Mozambique Government. Lead the implementation of the Community Score Card approach. Technical planning, capacity building of the key actors including Project and Government technicians, strengthening, and managing the relations with the Central, Provincial and District Government and stakeholders’ engagement.
The position will be based in Nampula Province and Nampula City with frequent travel to Eráti and Nacaroa districts.
