Digital Health Specialist Full-Time

Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Digital Health Specialist to join our team in Maputo, Mozambique.

The Digital Health Specialist will be responsible for capacity building provincial and national government stakeholders on the management of the upSCALE platform, as well as providing leadership and technical guidance in relation its development and integration with other national systems.

The successful candidate will have:

Essential

• Master’s degree in relevant field (information systems, computer science).
• Extensive years of experience, with at least 2-3 years’ experience in implementing digital solutions, preferably in the health system.
• Previous experience of capacity building and providing technical assistance regarding the implementation of digital solutions to stakeholders at various levels including but not limited to government actors,  international organizations, NGOs/CBO’s, healthcare providers and community level structures.
• Experience of developing Android applications and complex data collection forms.
• Experience in system administration and hardware management.
• Experience in integrating information management systems.
• Experience of developing dashboards for data visualisation and analysis.

Desirable

• Experience and understanding of the Mozambique health systems context both at central and provincial levels, particularly the APE programme.
• Familiar with monitoring and evaluation of digital health interventions.
• Strong knowledge and experience working with CommCare and DHIS2.
• Experience in establishing community health information systems.
• Experience in server set-up.
