Maintenance Superintendent Full-Time

The Precision Recruitment International is hiring a Maintenance Superintendent for Beira.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and distribute tasks to the team (including overseeing work progress and performance);
• Ensure all preventative maintenance schedules and planned shutdowns are met in a timely manner;
• Contribute to maintenance budgets and forecasts;
• Provide problem solving for any maintenance or technical issues relating to plant and equipment;
• Carry out activities in compliance with statutory requirements and Company environment, health & safety policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with experience in mining or related environment (with First Aid & firefighting Certificate);
• 5+ years’ experience in maintaining industrial, mining, and/or mineral processing equipment;
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions;
• Excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills (knowledge of SAP or other related system as a maintenance management tool).
