The World Food Programme is hiring a Programme Policy Officer (M&E Nutrition), for Maputo.
In close collaboration with partnering agencies and the under the leadership of the Technical Secretariat for Food Security and Nutrition (SETSAN) of the Government, various nutrition and health related assessment are undertaken or planned to be conducted in the near future, especially in the Northern region of Mozambique, currently classified as a Level 2 emergency. WFPs participation in these assessments is key. The updated nutrition information will facilitate alignment of the response with the most urgent needs in the affected areas. WFP, in coordination with the nutrition cluster, will also ensure that food consumption deficits for the most nutritionally vulnerable groups are address through blanket supplementary feeding programme (BSFP) for children under five (CU5) and pregnant and lactating women (PLW). Moreover, WFP will collect regular programme data to inform and track the response.
