Abattoir Manager Full-Time

PRI is Hiring a Abattoir Manager based in Chimoio.

Functions

• Responsible for overseeing duties involving livestock of beef;
• Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of process and high quality beef;
• Responsible for supervising and managing the abattoir floor team;
• Responsible for ensuring the overall health, safety and hygiene of all used assets and abattoir area;
• Responsible for managing and tracking inventory counts;
• Responsible for ensuring maintence schedules of machinery utilized in the abattoir;
• Responsible for organizing the safe storage and dispatch of slaughtered animals;
• Ensure that meats and abattoir floor meeting governmental regulations.

Requirements

Must be a Mozambican national.

• Must be computer literate;
• Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in Portuguese and English;
• Have previous experience in the meat industry;
• An added bonus would be to have experience in food safety systems.
