International Organization for Migration is hiring a Logistics Officer based in Pemba.
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (COM), direct administrative supervision of Head of Sub Office, and under technical supervision of Resources Management Officer in Maputo, in close coordination with Procurement/Logistics Officer in Maputo, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day to day activities of running the Logistics, facilities, inventory and warehouse management function, ensuring that the inventory system is fully operational according to IOM SOP and rules/regulations.
S/he will be responsible and accountable for providing support to ongoing activities with logistics, warehouse and facilities services. S/he will also contribute to providing recommendations aiming at increasing effectiveness, efficiency and transparency of the warehouse management in Mozambique, guided by the principles when undertaking all warehouse and logistics activities.
