IOM is hiring a Operations Officer, based in Pemba.
Under overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, the direct supervision of the Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM)/Displacement Management Coordinator and in close coordination with Head of Programmes and Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and assisting with the operational management of site planning and maintenance within the CCCM and Durable Solutions portfolio of the Mission.
The position is based in Pemba with frequent travels to Beira, and other locations as necessary.
IOM’s official languages are English, French, and Spanish.
For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). In addition, Fluency in
Portuguese is highly desirable. Working knowledge of local languages an advantage.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

Internationally recruited professional staff are required to be mobile.
