EA-APE is hiring an Operations & Technical Sales Lead for Transport / Logistics service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
Understanding clients’ needs and problems and providing solutions using the Group current and potential resources;
Ensure the operations team is suitably established with the quantity and quality of manpower to effectively and efficiently execute the Company Mission;
Ensure that all Operations adhere to Client HSE standards;
Ensure all Operations Personnel are suitably trained, equipped and resourced to work efficiently;
Able to understand the entity’s process and standards and replicate them on the ground;
Oversee all relevant lifting, handling and transportation work on site;
Provide lift planning support and management.
Business Development / Commercial responsibilities
To ensure that the Group wins as much work and maximizes profitability as much as possible;
Synthesize information from potential clients, other contractors, operations teams, sales team, and other key stakeholders in order to determine market rates and key targets on a twice-monthly basis;
Develop a pipeline of future opportunities and position the company to win key tenders;
Ensure that accurate and timely quotations are submitted whenever possible;
Maintain a competitor analysis to assist strategically;
Develop pricing models and strategies which will position the Group as the market leader in the Country.
Education / experience required to successfully undertake position:-
A minimum of University Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience in Transport / Logistics service support / Civil Engineering;
Fluent in Portuguese & English (essential);
Experience in Transport / Logistics service operations;
Safety Management;
LEAN SIX SIGMA (Desirable);
Sales Training (Desirable);
Project Management (Desirable).
