One of the key principles driving VillageReach technical support to the Government of Mozambique at the provincial health departments (DPS) and at the Center for Drugs and Medical Supplies (CMAM) level relies on the implementation of the Visibility & Analytics Network (VAN) to ensure reliable and accessible data for decision-making and accountability. The aim is to get improved systems for end-to-end visibility and accountability. The VAN Senior Manager is responsible for leading the strategic vision, development, implementation and integration of data analytics to support VillageReach objectives, and goals. They will lead ongoing development of relevant dashboards for analysis of supply chain performance data and, based on those analyses, recommending a series of ongoing improvements to enhance supply chain performance. Currently there are a number of gaps to build capacity within Government and the VillageReach team, to enhance use of proper technology and improve VAN processes, hence the need for a dedicated VAN Senior Manager.

A. Embed the use of VAN into government on-going operations at national and provincial levels

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
VillageReach has no private offices, employees work in a shared, open environment with task and conference rooms accessible to employees for privacy and meetings. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Due to the time zone differences between our Seattle office and our Country Offices and location of other global staff, US based staff are expected to be available for early morning meetings starting at 6am. In addition, our global HQ and Country office staff are expected to be available for late afternoon/evening meetings up to 6pm.

Compensation:
VillageReach has an established compensation structure that is based on the relevant market and internally transparent. We hire people into the established range based on one’s experience and education and considering internal equity. We do not inquire about salary history.
