The Global Edge Consultants is hiring a Maputo based Senior Administrative Assistant for an Oil & Gas major client.
The Position will assume a central role in the development of the social performance team playing an active role in leading specific activities, promoting coordination and collaboration, ensuring the development of relationship with field-based teams, and among field-based and Maputo-based teams.
Minimum of 5 years relevant administrative experience in a multi-national company as preference;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – strong collaborator and excellent coordination skills;
Willingness to occasionally travel to the Project location in Afungi, Palma District and Pemba, Cabo Delgado Peninsula to ensure familiarity with Project site and engage site-based teams re support;
Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken);
Computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required;
Experience with a document management software.
Improve administrative processes;
Being a point of contact for a range of staff and external stakeholders;
Document filing and control;
Ordering and taking stock of office supplies;
Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries;
Supporting teams on liaising with Contracts & Procurement for tender process;
Assist completion of relevant documentation for e-certification compliance;
Assume responsibility for use of Isometrix;
Researching and booking travel arrangements for staff members;
Answering and directing phone calls, scheduling meetings and appointments, greeting and directing visitors, taking notes and minutes in meetings, and preparing documents for meetings and business trips.
