Hitachi Construction Machinery Mozambique is looking forward to hire a well experienced, ambitious, dedicated, networked and knowledgeable Business Developer for the new market adventure and prospection.
Role responsibilities:
Identify potential clients in the market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs;
Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships;
Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients;
Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders;
Produce weekly market report hence administering and developing all biweekly reports for press coverage and new businesses;
Analyze current market needs in term of our product and services hence producing a market sales forecast;
Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities;
Create and improve proposals for our existing and new clients;
Prepare the company budget and continually track expenses, as well as make sure we’re on track to hit revenue targets;
Develop and deliver pitches for potential investors;
Liaise and coordinate with headquarters’ sales teams and identify business needs;
Design business plans and ensure effective implementation;
Administer new markets and identify requirement for prospective markets and develop new products and services;
Monitor competitor business and assist to increase revenue for processes;
Qualifications for Business Developer
5+ years’ experience working in a development role;
Fluent in both English and Portuguese language
Previous role in a leadership position;
A valid passport;
An understanding of how to interpret P&L, Earnings, and Inventory reports;
Robust interpersonal skills;
Ability to travel in order to see clients, explore new markets and attend conventions;
Solid written and verbal communication skills;
Strong leadership skills;
A familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite;
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field;
Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software;
Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job;
Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for client.
