The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking a project manager with excellent partnership coordination skills to take on the new role of Transforming Nutrition (TN) and Collaboration, Learning and Adapting (CLA) Coordinator. This role will be based out of our partner offices in Nampula, Mozambique.
GAIN is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people. In particular, we aim to make healthier food choices more desirable, more available, and more affordable. GAIN’s mission is to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially those most vulnerable to malnutrition.
Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, the TN and CLA Coordinator will monitor and manage the progress of GAIN’s activities within the USAID Transform Nutrition Project in Mozambique. They will also be responsible for leading the coordination of the Collaboration, Learning and Adapting acitivites for the project. Role specifics include;
You will have solid experience within the health sector, with an emphasis on project management. You will need to bring with you monitoring and evaluation experience to develop staff and organisational learning, preferably within the Mozambican context. Self motivation and adaptability are key to this role, as is the ability to use strong communication skills to foster strong partnerships. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience with CLA within a USAID or other donor related project.
