The Human Resources Manager will perform a key role in the development of the new Academy. In this initial phase of the Academy, the HR Manager shall be able to develop policies, systems and practices, while drawing on the experiences in the Academies network. S/he will be responsible for translating institutional strategies into HR priorities as well as creating a culture with the staff that best supports the students’ success in what will be a centre of educational excellence. S/he will be part of a growing community, one that develops young people of talent and potential to be the well-educated, ethical leaders of tomorrow. As the young Academy develops, there will be a significant emphasis on bringing in talent, developing it and creating a culture and an infrastructure in which it flourishes. Both adults and students will be part of a learning community within an integrated learning network.
This post holder will be responsible for providing an effective, strategic and operational Human Resources service comprising all elements of an HR Lifecycle while maintaining the highest possible professional and ethical standards at all times and acting with unyielding integrity. The HR Manager will act as a role model for the Aga Khan Academy’s values.
