Mozambique is one of Africa’s fastest developing countries with a large population of children and young people. Together with the Government of Mozambique and our partners, UNICEF works to promote and protect the rights of children and women, especially those most at risk and facing multiple challenges. We are fully committed to guarantee the survival, development, protection and participation of Mozambican children.
We are currently supporting the strengthening of social welfare system, including the implementation of a national system for Case Management to make sure that vulnerable children and families are identified and referred to appropriate services for care and support. This includes work with social welfare system actors, as well as partner organizations and communities where these children and families live.
You will provide professional technical, operational and administrative support to facilitate the achievement concrete and sustainable results for Child and Social Protection programmes. You will prepare, execute, manage, and implement and document a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
This role includes regular engagement with provincial and local partners, including programmatic monitoring and technical support. You will be expected to travel to various provinces in Mozambique, up to 40% of the time, based on priorities.
