Manages key Forecasting and Demand Planning processes in conjunction with CD, Brand Building, Customer Marketing, Finance and related functions within Supply Chain to ensure delivery of financial targets by minimising Inaccuracy and Bias. The CDP creates a rolling 24 month Agreed Unconstrained Demand Plan (AUDP). Accountable for overall quality of the Demand Planning process and the quality of the resultant numbers.
Key accountabilities:
Manage the Demand Planning process for 0 – 3 months, in weekly buckets with SKU detail; by product family by month for 4-24 months and focusing on eliminating bias and improving forecast accuracy;
Leads the Forecast Bias/Accuracy review process for Mozambique with emphasis on Post Promotion reviews to improve forecasting assumptions;
Use FB/FA review output to clean historical sales data in SAP on a weekly basis;
Attend monthly ARM (Activity Review Meeting) for the Sub Region;
Coordinate integration of activity plans coming from CD, COM and BB on top of baseline to produce Agreed Unconstrained Demand;
Highlight risk and opportunities in sales volume based on statistical analyses, activity evaluations and CD feedback;
Develop and refine the Mozambique Forecasting Process;
Complexity Management – regularly review SKU portfolio with extended teams (customer, finance and supply chain) and make appropriate recommendations;
Coordinate with local Brand Building and Customer Marketing teams on innovation and promotion plans & forecast, respectively;
