Financial management

Audit Reports
Develop forecasts and financial budgets for strategic business unit
Management of operations
Plan and organize Strategic Business Unit resources optimally in respect of developing plans and strategies, scheduling and forecasting
Develop and manage programs, plans and budgets for specific projects / contracts to be undertaken
Manage the individual Service Level Agreements to ensure compliance to the agreements at all times
Ensure adherence to fleet maintenance and manufacturing standards
Monitor equipment performance trends and apply corrective and preventative strategy actions.
Ensure that all standards are met in respect of the vehicle replacement
Effective management of customer relationships
Ensure and maintain a healthy client relationship, providing a best practice solution to the client supply chain needs, resulting in contract renewal
Undertake Customer Service Audits to obtain feedback on customer satisfaction levels
Undertake client entertainment a minimum of once a year within budget
Business development
Develop and manage Business Development Plans in accordance with the overall Business Plan, to achieve a growth of 5% on revenue ( organic or new business) with current or new client base in current area of responsibility for the financial period
Assist with business development programs to achieve market growth and market penetration objectives set in the overall Business Plan and implementation thereof
SHEQ
Implement and manage an effective SHEQ system addressing all safety risks identified, limiting all safety risks to a minimum and ensuring zero LTI scores.
Monitor accident levels and implement accident prevention measures

Profile
B Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics Management
+/ – 10years experience in a senior management role in supply chain and logistics management
Sound knowledge of company policies and procedures including financial reporting procedures
Understanding of policies and procedures in supply chain and logistics management.
Sound knowledge of company health, safety, environment and quality policies and procedures
Understanding of Company Disciplinary and Grievance procedures
Extensive experience and knowledge in operations management
Sound knowledge of the logistics and supply chain management environment
