The consultant will work under a detailed work plan, agreed in collaboration among UNICEF, the provincial DPINE, the provincial DPEF and the Provincial Permanent Secretariat.
The consultant will be supervised directly by the UNICEF Senior Social Policy Specialist, but work in day to day guidance with the DPEF and DPPINE. He/she will be constantly in touch with UNICEF Social Policy Evaluation Analysis and Research (SPEAR) team for strategic supervision, technical discussion and approach in daily work, and will link directly with the UNICEF Provincial team leader. He/She will maintain collaboration with other sectoral focused UNICEF programme staff, as part of the Zambézia Provincial team as well as with Maputo based programme staff.
Monthly reports will be produced against agreed results, and shared with all three bodies before payments are effected. The consultant will be based at DPEF or UNICEF Provincial office, depending on new arrangement of the UNICEF presence in the province.
